How Attributes Work

Attributes allow you to assign characteristics to interviewers, which can be used to filter interviewers within modules.

• Parent Attribute: The main category for an attribute (e.g., Coding Skill).
• Value: Specific values under a Parent Attribute (e.g., Java, Python).

Example: Assigning the Coding Skill attribute with values like Java and Python allows you to filter interviewers proficient in one or both of these skills.

How to Create New Attributes

1. Navigate to Custom Attributes:

   • Go to Organization Settings → Interviewers → Custom attributes.

2. Create an Attribute:

   • Click New Attribute.
   • Enter a name for the attribute and click Save.

3. Add Values to the Attribute:

   • Click + Add value next to the new attribute.
   • In the Value Name field, enter the name of the value (e.g., Java).
   • Assign interviewers to the value by typing their names in the People field or selecting from the dropdown.
   • Click Save.

4. Repeat:

   • Add additional values to the attribute as needed.
