New Task Defaults

Canceling Open Tasks When Applications Are Rejected

ModernLoop can automatically cancel open tasks when an application is rejected.

How to Enable Automatic Task Cancellation

1. Navigate to Organization Settings → Tasks → General.

2. Toggle Cancel open tasks when an application is rejected to ON.

• This feature is not retroactive. It will only cancel tasks for applications rejected after the toggle is turned on.
• Tasks for previously rejected applications must be canceled manually. </aside>

New Task Defaults

Default Assignee

You can set a default assignee for tasks created in ModernLoop.

How to Set Default Assignee

1. Navigate to Organization Settings → Tasks → General.
2. For each task type, choose a default assignee from the following options:
   • Unassigned: No default assignee.
   • Candidate Coordinator: Assigns the task to the candidate’s coordinator.
   • Candidate Recruiter: Assigns the task to the candidate’s recruiter.
   • Whoever Creates the Task: Assigns the task to the creator.
