Note: The privacy settings mentioned under "Shared with candidate" are applicable to both the Candidate Portal and email communications. However, if your organization does not utilize ModernLoop's Candidate Portal, these settings will exclusively affect email communications sent to the candidate.

You can set the default visibility for candidate and interviewer events to Private or Public and optionally lock the setting to prevent changes at the job setup level.
Navigate to Organization Settings → Privacy → Settings.
Choose the default visibility option for Calendar event visibility:
(Optional) Lock the Setting: Locking the visibility ensures the setting cannot be changed during job setup.

For candidates: Making events private has minimal impact. The main difference is that external people who the candidate has shared their calendar with will not be able to see the interview details.
For internal team members: Private events will only be visible to those who are invited to the event, rather than being visible to anyone who has access to view the calendar.
For room bookings: When events are set to private, the interview details will not appear in the booking details for conference rooms or other resources.
You can control how interview names are displayed to candidates, ensuring confidentiality if required.
