ModernLoop simplifies the interview process by allowing you to create and manage templates for sending emails and interview details to candidates or interviewers. You can use default templates provided by ModernLoop or create your own customized templates.

In This Article
Configuring Templates
- Navigate to Organization Settings → Templates to configure your templates.
- Use the Template tab to:
- Search all templates: Find templates by name.
- Filter templates: Narrow results by template type or by templates marked as default.
- New template: Open the modal to create a new template.
- Ellipsis icon (3 dots): Modify existing templates by selecting options like:
- Set/Unset company default: Mark a template as the default for your organization.
- Duplicate: Create a copy of the template.
- Delete: Permanently remove the template (affects all users in your organization).
Creating a New Template

Navigate to the Templates tab and click New template.

Fill in the following fields:
- Name: Enter the name of your template.
- Type: Select the template type from the dropdown. The selected type determines which content can be edited.

Edit the content for the specific communication type.
- Use tokens to personalize templates:
- Add commonly used tokens with buttons.
- Explore more options in the More tokens dropdown menu.

Click Save.

How to create a new template.
Modifying an Existing Template

Click on the Name of the template in the Name column.

The Edit template modal allows you to:
- Change the name of the template.
- Update the template type.
- Set or unset the template as the company default.
- Edit the subject line, event title, or description.
- Modify the body, description, or message and add tokens.

Click Save to apply changes.
