ModernLoop allows you to manage employee profile information individually or in bulk using a CSV file. The bulk import process streamlines assigning and updating fields such as department, team, level, location, and manager, as well as LinkedIn URLs and titles.

Bulk Import File Specifications

The bulk import process requires a CSV file with the following fields. Ensure your file meets these specifications:

Field Description Required
Employee Email The employee's email address. Yes
Manager Email The manager's email address. No
Department The department to which the employee belongs. No
Team The team the employee is part of. No
Level The employee’s level (e.g., Senior, Junior, Manager). No
Title The employee’s title.
Note: This is candidate-facing and appears in schedules. Visibility to candidates can be adjusted in your Privacy settings. No
LinkedIn The employee’s LinkedIn URL.

Steps to Upload Your File

  1. Access the Profile Info Page
  2. Download the Spreadsheet Template
  3. Fill in the Template
  4. Upload the File
  5. Processing and Confirmation
